TerraViva launches the Punta Bianca competition, challenging architects to reimagine a ruin located on the Sicilian coast of Agrigento. With Agrigento's recent designation as the Italian Capital of Culture 2025, this competition seeks to restore the historic Customs House in Punta Bianca.
The main goal is to revitalize this unique abandoned building into a vibrant, modern space that welcomes curious visitors. While doing that, participants must carefully consider the natural context surrounding the Customs House. "The project emphasizes the need for careful consideration of the delicate natural context in which the restoration proposal will be set, ensuring the intrinsic value of this pristine landscape is preserved."
As usual, Toffu users receive a 20% discount with code: TOFFUXPTB. Additionally, registrants will get the Punta Bianca Competition Kit for free!
