We are back with a new competition announcement by Terraviva for designers and architects! The "La Juanita" competition is focused on the design of a contemporary house facing the stunning Paraná River in Argentina. Participants are expected to envision a permanent family residence that blends modern living with the tranquility of a riverside landscape. In this project, it will be significant to seek a dialogue with nature and respect the landscape, as well as enhance them in all the designed spaces.
Participants should also keep in mind that this will be a house "where family customs, get-togethers with friends, the campfire, and the round of mate under the shade of the willow can be experienced in close contact with the river and the natural beauty that surrounds it."
If this all sounds exciting, don't forget, Toffu users can receive a special 20% discount with the code TOFFUXJNT. Moreover, when you register, you'll get the La Juanita Competition Kit for free!
The main challenge of this competition is to create a home that reflects contemporary Argentine architecture while also offering a peaceful retreat away from urban life. This is an amazing challenge for creative minds to explore the intersection of modern architecture and natural context. 🌱
"The competition encourages designers to propose projects of the highest spatial and architectural quality. Through experimentation with forms and the precise use of materials, designs should highlight the site's features, reinterpreting contemporary living."
